1. Scope of this policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Life Logger handles information when you use the app. It applies to the current local-first version of Life Logger for iPhone and iPad.

2. Information stored in the app

Life Logger stores the event information you choose to record, such as event type, date and time, optional values, units, notes, and your custom event-type settings.

This information is stored locally on your device so the app can show your timeline, calendar, and insights.

3. Data collection and use

Life Logger does not collect your event data, create user accounts, or operate a remote backend for the app.

The app does not use third-party analytics, advertising SDKs, profiling, or tracking technologies. We do not use your event data for advertising, marketing, or any purpose outside the app.

4. Data sharing

We do not sell, rent, share, or disclose your event data to third parties. Your records are not transmitted to us or to external services by the app.

5. Your choices and data retention

You can delete individual event records and custom event types from within the app. When you delete an item, it is removed from the local app data on your device.

Deleting Life Logger from your device removes its local app data. If you use device backups, copies may be retained in backups managed by Apple under your device and iCloud settings.

6. Security

Because your information remains on your device, access to it is controlled by your device and its security settings. We recommend keeping your device software current and using a device passcode or biometric lock.

7. Children’s privacy

Life Logger does not knowingly collect personal information from children or any other user. The app does not require an account or submit event records to a server.

8. Changes to this policy

If Life Logger’s privacy practices change, we will update this page and revise the “Last updated” date before the change takes effect.

9. Questions
